If you are looking for options for a great family vacation, you should definitely consider booking a cruise. There's probably no better vacation value! Food, lodging and entertainment are all included in the booking price, and there's always something going on to keep every member of the family occupied and happy. Or, if you would prefer, you can just relax poolside, or in the ship's library, or even in your cabin. Most cruise ships offer a broad range of dining experiences, and even the pickiest of eaters will be able to find something to please them somewhere on board. If you notify the cruiseline well in advance, most are able to prepare special meals for those on restricted diets; e.g., kosher, vegetarian or gluten free (for those with celiac), among others, to be served in the dining rooms. In addition to the excellent food, the service is often impeccable. Evenings generally offer delightfully entertaining stage shows, movies, dancing and gambling. There will also be plenty of shopping opportunities available both on board and at each port-of-call. Don't forget to schedule one or more shore excursions, some of which can be once in a lifetime opportunities, such as taking a helicopter ride to walk on a glacier, or zip-lining through a jungle canopy! The cost of these excursions varies over a broad range, but most are well worth the investment. Even the least expensive tours will provide you with a better feel for the way of life at each destination. Of course, you will also always have the option of exploring each port-of-call entirely on your own. Your kids will love cruising because there will be plenty of varied, organized, group activities with which they can be involved, or they can just do their own thing under your parental supervision. You will have the opportunity to decide what works best for your family. So, to summarize, cruising offers great vacation opportunities with varied destinations, forms of entertainment, dining, shopping, gambling and exploration all at very reasonable prices. Consider booking a cruise for your next family adventure.

I was reluctant to go on a cruise for a very long time, but once I tried it, I was hooked and now I go as often as possible. I've tried several different lines, and a variety of destinations, and have always had a great time.
